For those of you who want to go places and see things, ISDC 2002 has put together an excellent group of tours. You must register for these tours either with the Registration form, or through the online ISDC Registration. Register immediately, because many of these tours are limited to how many people they allow. If the limited tours are full, no more buses will be added. Also, we may be adding additional tours to other locations, so check back regularly.

Tour #1 (Cheyenne Mountain):

Restrictions = You must be an American citizen, mail your Social Security Number and a copy of your Drivers License to ISDC 2002, 7735 Osceola St., Westminster, CO 80030, two weeks prior to the tour. You will not be allowed on the tour if these items are not received. No cameras of any type, radios, CD players, tape recorders, computers, palm pilots, cell phones, another words, no electronic devices will be allowed in the facility. Also, no purses, backpacks, fanny packs, brief cases, suit cases, etc. will be allowed in the facility. Everything will have to be left on the bus. The bus will be locked during the tour. During the tour you must be able to briskly walk and easily traverse up and down lots of stairs. The facility is not equipped for the handicapped at all.

Tour #2 (Lockheed-Martin):
Day = Thursday

Tour Duration = 1.5 hours

Restrictions = No cameras of any type, radios, CD players, tape recorders, computers, palm pilots, cell phones, another words, no electronic devices will be allowed in the facility. Also, no purses, backpacks, fanny packs, brief cases, suit cases, etc. will be allowed in the facility. Everything will have to be left on the bus.The bus will be locked during the tour.
Itinerary = The includes a historical perspective of rocket building at Lockheed martin and a guided commentary through the Final Assembly Building (FAB) where the Atlas and Titan launch vehicles are prepared for shipping to a launch site at either Cape Canaveral, FL or Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA. Also, guests will see the 100,000 class clean room where the Atlas and Titan Centaur (upper stage) is finalized for launching. Lockheed Martin's Waterton facility is located on 5,000 acres in the foothills 30 miles southwest of Denver.
